JDF Dance Artists Professional Company

This company is specifically designed for dancers age 19 and up that are looking for performance experience in a professional company setting. Whether you are in college or an instructor that has the desire to perform, this is your opportunity! We will perform all over the area at many different venues within our community!

(This company will be required to take a certain number of classes and will have one day of mandatory rehearsal)

In addition to enrolling in our programs to enhance your confidence and strength as an overall dancer, JDF Elite Dance Academy offers an outlet for the competitive dancer! There are four levels of Elite Companies to give all age levels a chance to experience the world of dance competitions!

   All candidates interested in participating in our JDF Elite Dance Companies will be required to audition. Auditions will consist of technique and a short combination to determine the candidates potential as an elite member! Members will be chosen by the Artistic Director and her staff.  All company members will be required to take certain classes. This will depend on the company they are a member of! Please check our Tuition page for details!

   In addition to regular instruction at JDF Elite Dance Academy and competition rehearsals, JDF Elite Dance Company members will attend  1-2 dance conventions and compete in 1-4 dance competitions through out the year. This will be an additional fee per member. They will also have various performance opportunities through out the community including but not limited to High School Spring Shows, fairs, nursing homes, etc.

    Mrs. Jennifer Forst feels that it is extremely important for students to learn how to perform and entertain an audience! Dance, after all, is a performance art and the theatrical aspect is necessary to draw the audience into the performance! The more the students are given the opportunity for "stage" time, the more natural their performances will be and the more versatile they will be as dancers!

    Members of JDF Elite Dance Companies will also gain confidence in their personal dancing as well as pride for being a member of JDF Elite Dance Academy by exposing the talent of JDF Elite to the community and other dance companies. Mrs. Forst also feels it is necessary for dancers to experience styles and technique outside of their own "bubble." Seeing other dancers and their abilities will motivate your student to want to learn more!

 SOLOS, DUETS, TRIOS AND ENSEMBLES

    In addition to JDF Elite Dance Company dances, JDF Elite Dance Company members also have the option to compete with solos, duets, trios and ensembles. All music, choreography, costumes and private lessons must be approved through Mrs. Jennifer and her staff. Additional fees will apply such as choreography fees, entry fees, costumes fees and private lesson fees. Private lessons are set up with the choreographer and availability of studio space must be approved through the front office. Private lesson fees are $30 for 30 minutes and $60 for an hour.

     If there is an extenuating circumstance where a student cannot be a member of the company, but would like to compete with a solo, duet, trio or ensemble, they may audition for the JDF Elite Staff. The Artistic Director will decide if the solo or group is ready to attend competition. If so, the solo or group will attend all competitions with JDF Elite Dance Academy. Additional fees will apply such as choreography fees, entry fees, costume fees and private lesson fees.

 Any dancer/dancers wishing to compete with a solo, duet, trio or ensemble that is not a member of JDF Elite Company must be enrolled in at least one class at JDF Elite.

CHOREOGRAPHY FEES:

The following choreography fees are paid after the routine is completed. All hourly private lesson fees are separate and are to be paid for at the start of each private lesson.

Solo - $300

Duet - $450

Trio - $600

Quartet - $750

• PETITE ELITE

   This company is for members age 5 -8 years of age. These petite dancers will compete in 2-3 categories and they will be entered as small groups - large groups.  

The monthly tuition for Petite Elite is $195

• JUNIOR ELITE

    This company is for members age 9-12 years of age. These Jr. dancers will compete in 3 categories and they will be entered as a junior small-large group.

 The monthly tuition for Junior Elite is $215             

• ROOKIE ELITE

     This company is for members age 13-18 years of age. These Rookie dancers will compete in 3 categories and they will be entered as small-large group.

The monthly tuition for Rookie Elite is $215

• SENIOR ELITE

     This company is for members age 13-18 years of age. These Senior dancers will compete in 3 categories and they will be entered as small-large group.

• JDF DANCE ARTISTS PROFESSIONAL COMPANY

     This company is for members age 19 and up. These Senior dancers will be a performance group ONLY. This will be the JDF Elite Professional Company. This company will perform all over the area.
